Quant Mutual Fund (MF) has announced the appointment of Shashi Kataria as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective from July 1. Kataria replaces Harshal Patel, who resigned from the fund house due to personal reasons.

The fund house posted on social media platform X that Harshal Patel tendered his resignation on February 19, with his last day of service being May 19. Shashi Kataria joined the fund house on June 10.

"Shashi Kataria joined us on 10th June, 2024 and the Board Meeting was convened on 1st July 2024, and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Operations Head and Executive Director of Quant Money Managers Limited," it said on social media platform X.

Kataria is a Commerce graduate from Mumbai University and a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
